October 30, 2021
After successfully hosting the 2020 Happy Girls Run in Sisters, Lay It Out Events has become a name that is synonymous with safe and healthy running events in the era of COVID-19.
Challenge yourself to the half marathon and enjoy beautiful single track, fast, flowy descents and amazing views of the Cascades on the Peterson Ridge trail system just outside Sisters or have fun with the 5K which tours the scenic western-themed town. Both races start and finish at the beautiful FivePine Resort, where you’ll be welcomed by crisp mountain air and majestic Ponderosa pines.
Please know that we are first and foremost committed to each and every runner’s health and safety during these uncertain times. To ease all crowding, the race features four staggered starts, a fully chip-timed race, an extensive outdoor area for socially distancing and some innovative ways to make sure everyone is warm and fed and HAPPY at the finish area.
As many of you know – The half marathon race is limited to 500 runners, so don’t get left behind (the race always sells out)!
We also feature the 2021 Virtual Happy Girls Run for our extended Happy Girls Running Community!
